Let’s be real, Mix 01 was pretty bad.  The 3rd of the transitions was the best.  That’s kinda ironic because I messed it up and had to improvise during the recording.

This time around, I wanted to do more transitions, but less techniques.  So this mix is 8 tracks.  The beats are similar in BPM, so I focused on cue points and counting bars.

I’m feeling a little under the weather, but that ain’t gonna stop the mix.  Here are the techniques I was messing around with this time.

• Crossfading
• Using the EQs
• Beat syncing
• Drop mix technique to mix songs with a dramatically different tempo
• Ad libing (I made two errors while mixing 🙂 )
